Meatless Monday: Incredible India gets inventive

I had a hankering for Indian food while on the north side recently, which led me to Incredible India — a relatively new Fishers-adjacent restaurant with an extensive and inventive menu.

The intrigue: I had anticipated ordering my usual, veggie korma, but found myself perusing a fusion menu with dishes like chili paneer, where Indian paneer cubes are cooked in a Chinese style with a spicy, soy-based sauce, peppers and onions and "hummus cheese naan."

It's cheese naan – but cheddar, not traditional paneer, inside and out — served with a side of hummus.
Unexpected, but it works!

What to order: When I saw paneer tikka tacos, I knew I had to try them.

Tandoori paneer is crumbled and stuffed inside miniature naan "taco" shells, topped with lettuce, sour cream and guacamole.
Instead of salsa or pico, it's served with chutney on the side.

💭 My thought bubble: First, it's listed under appetizers but comes with three tacos and totally makes a meal.

Second, it's a great meal at that. The paneer is well-spiced and who knew that naan made a perfect taco shell alternative?
