The Indy Eleven's 11th season is in full swing, bringing another year of United Soccer League action to Indianapolis.

Why it matters: Although they've been kicking it in the Circle City for more than a decade, team leaders say they're just getting started on raising the profile of professional soccer in Indiana.

State of play: The Eleven currently have a 1-1-3 record.

  • They finished last season at 13-10-11, reaching the playoffs and losing to the Charleston Battery in the conference semifinals.

Here are a few things to know before you go to a game this season.

👨‍💼 New head coach: Sean McAuley is the man calling the shots as the fifth head coach in club history. He replaced Mark Lowry, who led the team to a 25-28-15 record and their first playoff appearance since 2019 during his two seasons at the helm.

  • McAuley was most recently interim head coach for MLS' Minnesota franchise. He also coached in Portland and Orlando.
  • As a player, McAuley had a 15-year senior career with Manchester United that started in 1990.

ğŸŽŸï¸ Special ticket prices: The team has specially priced tickets that coincide with the date of the game. For example, the home opener on March 23 had tickets starting at $3.23.

  • The remaining games that offer that deal are on 5/18, 5/25, 6/22, 7/13, 7/20, 8/11, 9/14, 9/28 and 10/19.
  • The ticket deals are online only, so buy in advance.

⚽ Kicking it at Carroll: Indy Eleven's planned 20,000-seat soccer stadium along the White River is still a work in progress, so Michael A. Carroll Stadium remains the team's home pitch.

  • The stadium, also known as The Mike, is on the Indiana University-Indianapolis campus at 1001 W. New York St.

📺 Watching at home: Home games and select road games are broadcast on WRTV, WISH and WNDY throughout the regular season.

  • New this year is a deal that will bring 35 USL matches to national television via CBS Sports and ESPN, including one Eleven game. The team opened the USL Championship's national network television broadcasts for 2024 with their April game against Louisville.
  • 26 of the team's games will stream on ESPN+, and seven will stream on the free CBS Sports Golazo Network.

🏃 If you go: Indy Eleven's next home game is Saturday against Charleston Battery.

  • Tickets start at $15.
  • The game will be broadcast on ESPN+ and WNDY.
