Local businesses offer eclipse-themed beverages

Less than a week out, eclipse excitement is building.

Luckily, Indy's coffee shops, bars, restaurants and breweries are just as excited as we are.

Slake your thirst for all things celestial with one of these local eclipse-themed drinks:

🫐 Ash and Elm Cider Co.'s Obscura Solara, made with Obscura blackberry cider, mint simple syrup, sweet and sour mix and soda water.

🌘 Big Lug Brewing Co.'s Path of Totality, a blackberry and espresso sour beer.

🌾 Black Dog Brewing Co.'s Total Eclipse of the Hops, on draft at its Mooresville taproom and available at various Indy-area liquor stores.

🍫 Blue Mind Roasting's eclipse mocha, made with blackberry jam, chocolate, espresso and milk shaken over ice.

🍋 Dull's Tree Farm has hot and cold options: galaxy lemonade, made with butterfly pea tea ice and sparkles or cosmic hot chocolate, topped with whipped cream, sparkles and a moon pie.

🌒 Guggman Haus Brewing Co.'s Eclipse Chaser coffee oatmeal stout, brewed with Tinker Coffee, is one of three cosmic-themed brews available starting Thursday.

🍺 MashCraft Brewing Co.'s Sol Invictus, a Vienna lager getting tapped Friday.

🍹 Provision's Ring of Fire cocktail, made with tequila, strawberry, herbal and bitter liqueurs, simple syrup, lime and red pepper juice.

☕ Sun King Brewery's In the Path of Totality beer, made with the brewer's Sunlight Cream Ale to represent the sun and infused with Sun Bean Roastery's totality blend dark roast coffee to represent the darkness of the eclipse.

🍻 Taxman Brewing Co. is releasing two special beers for the big day: In the Black, a dark Belgian ale, and Totality, a double IPA with galaxy and comet hops.
