The best host city in sports is at it again, this time welcoming back the Big Ten Football Championship Game between Iowa and Michigan.
🎶 The festivities start with the kickoff concert from 4-9pm Friday on Monument Circle.
- Chicago-based cover band Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press will play at 7pm.
- Tickets are "donate what you can" to benefit Gleaners Food Bank.
🎉 Meanwhile, Fan Fest is open from 5-9pm in the Indiana Convention Center.
- There will be interactive games, performances from team bands, mascot appearances and more.
- It opens again Saturday at 10am.
- Admission is included with game tickets or Fan Fest-only tickets can be purchased on-site for $12 for adults/$6 for kids.
🍻 Plus: The Big Ten Tailgate on South Street is free to the public from 10am to 8pm Saturday.
🏈 The game kicks off at 8pm Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

🎅 Get in the holiday spirit when the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra kicks off its annual Yuletide Celebration, complete with tap-dancing Santas, at Hilbert Circle Theatre.
- The first show is at 7:30pm Friday, with more than two dozen performances through Dec. 23. Tickets start at $45.
🍭 Immerse yourself in the magic of Chromatic Collective's art installation, a floor-to-ceiling transformation inspired by the enchanted forests of candy land lore, debuting at 5pm Friday at the Stutz building.
- The Chromagic Market featuring local vendors is from noon to 6pm Saturday.
- In conjunction with Chromatic, the Stutz Artists Association is also holding studio open houses during both events.
😱 You better watch out, if you've been naughty. Saturday is Krampusnacht, the day that lore says a mythical demon-goat beast arrives to scare and punish those who find themselves on the naughty list, at the Athenaeum Foundation's Christkindlmarkt.
- The event is family-friendly from 3-6pm but geared for adults from 6-8pm.
- And for those on the nice list, Saint Nick himself is visiting from 1-4pm Sunday for the Sankt Nikolaus Fest.
🩰 Revel in the lavish world of The Nutcracker, an annual tradition from the renowned Butler University ballet.
- Shows are 8pm Friday, 2pm and 8pm Saturday, noon and 5pm Sunday.
- Tickets start at $25.
🪴 Get growing at Plant Stop, Won't Stop, the annual holiday-themed event centered around houseplants.
- The free event is from 11am to 4pm Sunday at The AMP at 16 Tech.
