👋 Shafaq here! I revisited an old favorite while I was in Montrose the other day, and the restaurant still hits.
Dig in: Aladdin Mediterranean has been serving halal-certified dishes inspired by Lebanese and Greek traditions for two decades. The menu lets you build your own plate from a long lineup of entrees, sides and salads.
What to order: Hummus is a must. My favorite is the caramelized onion hummus — it's smooth, rich and perfectly seasoned, with the flavor of every ingredient coming through. Paired with a fresh, fluffy pita, it's hard to think of a better bite.
You also can't go wrong with the selection of sides. The tabbouleh is especially good.
One of Aladdin's signature dishes is the baked mashed potato: it's mashed potatoes and mozzarella wrapped around cream cheese, then breaded and baked with paprika and breadcrumbs. Yum.
Cost: Four veggie sides $18 (pita included). Hummus by itself is $6.
