We've compiled our favorite Astros giveaways you can cop at Daikin Park this year.
Why it matters: While Houston is off to a rocky start this season, being an Astros fan still has its (free) perks.
Driving the news: The Astros return to Daikin Park next week for a seven-game home stand.
- The first 10,000 fans who show up to the May 15 game against the Texas Rangers will receive a free Hunter Brown orange jersey.
- Fans on May 16 will get a free cowboy baseball hat similar to the one Astros players started sporting this year to celebrate homeruns.
Zoom in: The Astros have so far planned 14 free fan giveaways at home games through October. More will likely be added to the list as the season goes on.
- Fans can also purchase special one-off items during select games, like an Astros Care Bears bobblehead, for an extra $50 at Tuesday's game.
👕 Jay's favs: I'm really hoping I can make it to June 19's matchup with the Cleveland Guardians so I can get the free José Altuve soccer-style jersey.
- 🏖️ The Astros are also giving away patriotic, Orbit-themed beach towels for the July 4 game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
- 🪭 The fans they're giving away for Pride Night June 3 against the Pittsburg Pirates are also super cute and useful in Houston's heat.
- 🥜 And anyone who knows me knows I've had my eyes on the Charlie Brown jersey add-on for Peanuts Night June 16 against the Detroit Tigers.
👽 Shafaq's favs: Anything with Astros mascot Orbit is a win for me, including the free glow-in-the-dark jersey and beanie add-on during June 5's matchup with the Athletics.
- 😻 I'm also looking forward to the free Hello Kitty ball cap giveaway July 1 against the Minnesota Twins. Say less.
- 🌺 You can't go wrong with the free Hawaiian shirt giveaway May 29 against the Milwaukee Brewers. That would be so fun to style.
- 🍍 I would also immediately compliment someone with the Astros SpongeBob Squarepants jersey available for purchase for the June 30 game against the Twins.
