Where to watch Oscar-nominated films in Houston

The River Oaks Theatre is currently screening two nominated films. "The Voice of Hind Rajab," nominated for best international feature, tells the true story of a 6-year-old trapped in a car in Gaza under Israeli fire. It's in the theater till at least Feb. 12.

• "Arco," nominated for best animated feature, follows a 10-year-old boy from a distant future who becomes stranded in 2075. It's screening for at least one more week.

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is presenting the Oscar-nominated short films on the big screen, in all three categories: animation, documentary and live action.

• Documentary shorts will be on Feb. 20, Feb. 22, Feb. 28, March 8 and March 14.
• Animated shorts will be on Feb. 21, Feb. 22, Feb. 26, March 7 and March 15.
• Live-action shorts will be on Feb. 21, Feb. 26, Feb. 28, March 1 and March 14.

Cinemark, Regal and AMC have announced showcase weeks for Oscar-nominated films.

• Cinemark's Oscars Movie Week, running from March 9–15, will feature nominated movies, animated and live-action short films.
• Regal will show the 10 best picture nominees March 6–15.
• AMC will have two marathon days of best picture films on March 7 and March 14.
