👋 Shafaq here! It might be winter, but Houston weather says otherwise — which makes mango feel like fair game.
Dig in: Heytea, an international tea franchise, opened two Houston locations last year — one in the Galleria and one in Asiatown. The Asiatown outpost is still buzzing, with long lines and plenty of hype.
In this case, it's earned. The drinks deliver.
What to order: The coconut mango boom ($7) is a must — either the original version or the blue version. It tastes like mango sticky rice in liquid form (seriously!) — jasmine-forward, dessert-like and pure yum.
I was also a fan of the supreme brown sugar milk tea ($8). The boba was great, with depth and sweetness.
