Seeing the city lit up is one of the best parts about the holidays.

βΎοΈ Daikin Park
Light Up the Park is the Astros' newest holiday celebration. The stadium is transformed into an immersive mix of lights, sound and festive installations β plus there will be Astros holiday merch.
- Tickets are about $33. Through Jan. 4.
π― Zoo Lights
This annual favorite pairs zoo animals with dazzling displays, including life-size animal lanterns, an enchanted forest and the new Wild Wonder Lights, with projections and a neon playground.

ποΈ Winter Wonderlawn at POST Houston
Check out city views and the Winter Wonderlawn atop POST Houston, featuring a forest of candy canes, two 25-foot Christmas trees and more, through Jan. 11.
- $12 weekday admission and $19 on weekends.
πΈ Botanical Garden Radiant Nature
See the botanical gardens light up for Radiant Nature, where there's an interactive zone with illuminated swings, a pair of mythical horses, glowing bluebonnets and more.

πͺ Galaxy Lights
Space Center Houston has an out-of-this-world light show. The space-themed installations are open through Jan. 4.

π Constellation Field in Sugar Land
Enjoy millions of lights, a towering 40-foot lit tree, a new 9-hole mini-golf course, festive carnival rides, Santa (through Dec. 23), holiday vendors and more through Jan. 4.

π Magical Winter Lights in Rosenberg
At the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds, Magical Winter Lights has a sprawling interactive Space Maze and Dino Land with lifesize dinosaurs through Jan. 4

Drive through an electric show while staying warm in your car. There are three locations in the Houston area β Sam Houston Race Park and in Spring and Katy β and both are open till Jan. 4.
- $39 per vehicle online or $60 at the gate.
π City and neighborhood displays
You don't really need to spend a dime to enjoy festive lights. Cruise through River Oaks, the Heights, Briargrove or Pecan Grove for standout displays β or simply wander the city and suburbs to take in the decorated trees, streets and storefronts.
