Dig in: Celebrity Cupcakes, by Rice Village, has been around for over 15 years and is known for its consistently good cupcakes — moist, flavorful and sometimes filled. Offerings rotate daily, and you can grab full or mini sizes.
My experience: You can't go wrong. They're undoubtedly sweet, just not super overpowering like some other cupcakes can be. Each is $4.75.
I tried the coconut and lemon raspberry — light, flavorful, moist with perfect frosting. I was a big fan of the lemon raspberry.
For something more chocolate-y, I got the indulgent double chocolate and southern red velvet. Both were delicious, but the red velvet is a Celebrity Cupcakes staple that's I've been ordering for over a decade.
