👋 Shafaq here! I revisited a cafe after a while, and it was as charming as ever.
Dig in:Anonymous Cafe, owned by a husband-wife duo, serves Greek-inspired sweet and savory food.
My experience: You can feel the care and community the moment you walk in — from the fresh flowers on each table to the owners chatting with guests — many from Houston's Greek community — and waving goodbye as you leave.
My sister and I used to stop by their old Sugar Land spot a decade ago, and they still remembered us. In the middle of the city's bustle, they've created a cozy spot where you can feel like you're in a small town.

What to order: I got the Greek Sandwich with a side salad ($15.50). Classic flavors done perfectly.
The pound cakes are a must. I went for the pumpkin cheesecake ($5.85), and it was melt-in-your-mouth goodness.
I also got the owner-recommended rice pudding ($8.25), a delicious comfort dish.
