👋 Shafaq here! Who doesn't love a croissant? I stopped by a Midtown bakery that wants you to love and savor every bite of their croissants.
Dig in: Love Croissant in Midtown serves up sweet, savory and classic croissants, from an apple crumble tart to a turkey and goat cheese croissant.
They pride themselves on using French technique and French butter.
My experience: I tried the Love Bun ($8) and it was absolutely scrumptious. The creamy, tangy-sweet guava cream filling in the buttery croissant, topped with graham cracker streusel, was messy but so worth it.
I also tried the Berry Key Lime Tart croissant ($10). It was beautiful and good — a little less flaky by noon, but probably crisp in the morning. A bit steep in cost, but still a stunner.
