It's not the Fourth of July without fireworks. Here are some places around greater Houston where you can catch the spectacle on Thursday.
Festivities begin at 4pm at Eleanor Tinsley Park. The event will feature live performances by Russell Dickerson, Jo Dee Messina, and Chapel Hart, culminating in a fireworks display.
- $10 for adults. Proceeds will go to the Houston Food Bank.
Houston Symphony at Miller Outdoor Theatre
Miller Outdoor Theatre and the Houston Symphony will host their free annual Star Spangled Salute at 8:30pm followed by fireworks at 10pm.
Kemah Boardwalk fireworks on the water
Celebrate the holiday all day at Kemah. There will be live music starting at 1:30pm and fireworks around 9:30pm.
- Boardwalk is free to enter.
Sugar Land hosts Red, White and Boom
Sugar Land's free Red, White and Boom celebration runs from 5-9pm at Crown Festival Park. The event features family activities, music, food and vendor booths, concluding with a fireworks display.
The Woodlands' Red, Hot & Blue Festival
The city's parade, featuring marching bands, fire engines, clowns and floats, begins at 9am. From 6-10pm, The Woodlands' Red, Hot & Blue Festival offers food, live entertainment and family fun. The 18-minute Fireworks Extravaganza will take place at approximately 9:30pm.
- The free fireworks can be viewed at Town Green Park, Northshore Park, Waterway Square, Rob Fleming Park and Hughes Landing.
