Driving the news: According to this random study by Payless Power that looked at Google search trends and surveyed a mere 500 people across the country, Houston prefers multicolored Christmas decor over white lights.
44% of Americans prefer multicolored lights for outside decor, compared to 37% who prefer white lights, per the survey.
San Antonio also seems to prefer multicolored lights, while Austin, Dallas and Fort Worth favor white.
