As November ends, the countdown to Christmas begins.
We've rounded up spots in the greater Houston area where you can find a Christmas tree — and there are even options to chop down your own.
Be smart: As it gets closer to Christmas, give locations a call to make sure they still have trees available.
Holiday Acres in Manvel
Holiday Acres has trees from 5 to 10 feet ready to cut, starting at $58. There is assistance to help you tie your tree to the car.
- Hayrides, hot chocolate and mulled cider are all included in the price of the tree.
A-C Christmas Tree Farm in Huntsville
While the drought impacted the selection of trees available at A-C Christmas Tree Farm, there are still trees available to purchase.

Old Time Christmas Tree Farm in Spring
Old Time Christmas Tree Farm has been a family-owned operation since 1996 and has trees planted across 40 acres. The farm has a mix of choose-and-cut and pre-cut trees taller than 9 feet available.
- You can also take photos with Santa on the weekend, go on a train ride and visit animals at the petting zoo.
High Star Christmas Tree Farm in Hockley
Make a whole day out of selecting your tree at High Star Christmas Tree Farm. You can chop down a tree, take the Merry Tree Express train, wander through a maze and visit Santa.
- 4-foot Virginia pines start at $30.
Double Creek Farm in Livingston
Double Creek Farm has Virginia pines and Carolina sapphire trees to cut as well as pre-cut trees from Michigan.
- Trees are $9 per foot if they're under 10 feet and $12 per foot if they're larger. The farm also has hayrides, forts, picnic tables, hot chocolate and spiced cider.
