Dutch Girl Donuts opens second location

Starting Tuesday on East Grand Boulevard, you can get Dutch Girl Donuts.

The big picture: Beloved bakery Dutch Girl is expanding to a second location.

The around 80-year-old local institution on Woodward Avenue at 7 Mile had closed in 2021, but it reopened in 2024 under new ownership and now has an offshoot closer to downtown.
New owner Paddy Lynch also owns The Schvitz bathhouse and Dakota Inn Rathskeller.
