Tigers fans reject Comerica Park's new name

Zoom in: Axios readers joined the opposition, responding with nostalgia, mockery and calls to revive an old name.

• "It will be Comerica for at least the immediate-to-maybe-forever timeline," Joni H. wrote, comparing it to her refusal to stop calling Pine Knob by its original name.
• Paul C. called Fifth Third Park "uninspired but not unexpected," adding that he'll call it "The Litter-box" until the Tigers turn things around.
• "Horrible name!" Deb S. wrote. "I simply say 'Tiger Stadium'!"

The big picture: Deb wasn't alone. Multiple readers had the same solution as Jack White: Just call the downtown ballpark Tiger Stadium.
