Things to do this weekend in Metro Detroit: Sept. 11-13

🎶 Cass Corridor's beloved, free music and vendor festival, Dally in the Alley, returns 11am-11pm Saturday.

• Music all day, from jazz to techno to rock, combines with a long lineup of food trucks and craft sales.

🏈 Celebrate the Lions' opening game against the New Orleans Saints at Ford Field with various tailgating options: MIX Bricktown, Gameday Hospitality, Eastern Market, Candela Detroit or, probably, literally any sports bar.

• Ticketmaster showed standing-room tickets at $177 as of Wednesday.

🖼️ Contemporary art fair Season Fair runs Friday through Sunday at the Shepherd art venue on Detroit's east side.

• General admission $40.

🎥 "Napoleon Dynamite" screens at the Fisher Theatre with a Q&A and live show including cast members.

• 7:30pm Saturday. Tickets start at $78.

🏙️ Detroit Month of Design events continue, mostly free, through the month of September.

• This weekend: Cars at the Station, an immersive floral installation, an outdoor garden experience, open studios and more.

🍎 The Art & Apples Festival hosts 200 artists and a range of food vendors across the 30-acre Rochester Municipal Park.

• 2-7pm Friday, 10am-7pm Saturday and 10am-4pm Sunday. Suggested $10 donation.
