👋 Hey, it's Annalise! Indecisive orderers may need a minute at Hemo's Spot, a smoothie and juice bar in Hamtramck with more than 70 options.
The vibe: Not much endears me more to a smoothie cafe than displays of fresh fruits and veggies. Hemo's has those in spades.
- It's a small space with a gigantic menu of options that range from milkshakes to healthy smoothies and fresh juices.
- There's a small counter with bar seating, though I opted to eat in my car and pretend I'm a food influencer.
Dig in: My "Tropical Green Power" smoothie with greens, banana, mango and whey protein was thick and satisfying.
- I also ordered a cheese and halawa (made from tahini) sandwich as a snack, and it came out warm and gooey.
If you go: Hemo's at 3104 Caniff Ave. is open 10am-midnight Monday-Friday and 11am-midnight Saturday and Sunday, per Google.
