🏺 Check out various public exhibitions of ceramic art around the city as part of a giant national conference taking place now through Saturday.

🦁 It's a big weekend for theater with multiple shows of "The Lion King" at the Detroit Opera House now through April 5, and "Mamma Mia!" at the Fisher Theatre through Sunday.

🎲 Board game lovers, this one's for you! The Nerdfest convention in Novi is a communal gathering space for tabletop gaming.

10am-midnight Friday and Saturday, and 10am-6pm Sunday. Admission: $20-$50.

🍺 The Cranbrook Institute of Science's first Crafts and Drafts event offers local beer while attendees wander the museum and browse science-themed arts and crafts.

Noon-4pm Sunday. Event included with general admission ($15).

🕺 Calling all partiers — DJs Donavan Glover and Slimey are at Orchid Theatre in Ferndale on Friday night.

10pm-2am; free registration.

🪺 Easter nears and egg hunts abound. Here are a couple options:

West Bloomfield egg scramble: 4-7pm Friday. $9-$11.
Blake's Orchard & Cider Mill egg-stravaganza: 10am-3pm Saturday, Sunday and April 4. $28.
