First sip: Dearborn's Monday Coffee Club

Vibes: Modern, with cultural accents that echo menu options like the zaatar grilled cheese and other items from the shop's Ramadan menu.

• Unmemorable music was playing throughout my visit. The decor included Drake and J. Cole album covers, "Take Care" and "2014 Forest Hills Drive," respectively, so maybe I'd like it more on other days.

Flavors: The Mediterranean bagel ($6) was the star of my order. I also got a 20-ounce coffee ($4.50) with oat milk.

• The combination of cucumber, mint, olive oil, labneh and zaatar was creamy, zesty and refreshing. I wish it was more common!
• There are also standard options for bagels, muffins and sandwiches.
• The coffee menu has creative lattes, matcha drinks and refreshers.

Workability: I worked comfortably on the Wi-Fi for about two-hours. Outlets are plentiful.

• The orders were mostly drive-thru and to-go during my stay, so there was plenty of room.
