The latest: On social media yesterday, Ludwinski shared the "Sister Pie Vision for 2030."

• Sister Pie is waiting to reopen its cafe on Kercheval for regular hours until it has a "solid financial foundation," Ludwinski wrote. That aspect of the business is important, but unpredictable and not as profitable.
• It is transitioning into a "beta phase" starting this month to build each silo of the business, starting with catering and events.

Between the lines: By 2030, Ludwinski writes, she wants the business to have four core parts: bakery/cafe with more seating, meals and grab-and-go items; baking education; wholesale; and catering and events, likely to be the most profitable part of the business.
