Shoot some hoops or play the most intricate game of HORSE of your life at a new art exhibition opening today downtown.
The big picture: The interactive installation at 1001 Woodward Ave. reinterprets a basketball court featuring a seven-armed sculpture with 21 basketball hoops at different angles and heights.
Visitors can interact and shoot hoops there, per a press release.
Tyrrell Winston, a California-born, Detroit-based artist, is known for using repurposed objects like basketballs. He worked with landlord Bedrock and gallery Library Street Collective on the project.
Plus, the exhibition also includes a 30-by-50-foot painting, a sculpture made of old basketballs, a merch store and photo spot.
If you go: HORSE is open Wednesdays and Thursdays, 4-9pm; Fridays, 4-10pm; Saturdays, 11am-10pm; and Sundays, 11am-6pm through Oct. 5.
