The Pistons are looking to even their playoff series with the Knicks tonight after Saturday's fourth-quarter collapse cost them Game 1 in New York.
Why it matters: Detroit can steal home court advantage from the Knicks with a Game 2 win.
Flashback: The Pistons were poised to win Game 1 with an eight-point lead with nine minutes left. But the Knicks flashed their playoff mettle, going on a 21-0 run to snatch the lead and, ultimately, the game from Detroit. New York prevailed, 123-112.
What they're saying: "We were the better team for three quarters, I thought," coach J.B. Bickerstaff said, the Free Press reported. "These are learning lessons for us and we have to be honest with ourselves when it comes to that."
What's next: Game 2 is tonight at 7:30pm at Madison Square Garden on TNT, TRU TV and FanDuel Sports Network Detroit.
