Buffalo bullies Detroit, snaps Lions' 11-game winning streak

• At 12-2, the Lions are now tied atop the NFC with the Philadelphia Eagles.

State of play: Detroit's defense, which has been diminished by several injuries, was completely outmatched. Buffalo punted only once.

• Quarterback Josh Allen showed why he's the MVP favorite, throwing for 362 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns.

Threat level: At least three Lions defenders left Sunday's game with injuries: defensive tackle Alim McNeill (knee), cornerback Carlton Davis (jaw) and cornerback Khalil Dorsey (ankle).

Between the lines: Aside from Amon-Ra St. Brown's fumble in the third quarter, Detroit's offense played well. But the defense was so bad that it needed a perfect game to keep up with the Bills' 48 points.

By the numbers: Goff threw for 494 yards and five touchdowns.
