The city will be aglow all weekend with all kinds of holiday happenings.
- Here are several worth considering:
βΈοΈ Go ice skating at Campus Martius β a classic downtown holiday attraction.
- The rink is open seven days a week through Jan. 5.
- Fridays and Saturdays, 11am-midnight; Sunday-Thursday, 11am-10pm.
π Do some shopping while you're downtown at Cadillac Square's holiday markets, where nearly 20 local small businesses are selling jewelry, bath products, toys and more.
π₯© Dine at Barda in Core City for the restaurant's debut of "Steakhouse Sundays," a four-course prix fixe menu for two for $100 with grilled oysters, salad, strip steak and Barda's burnt Alaska dessert.

π· Witness the unveiling of a new photographic mural featuring residents in Corktown and Hubbard Richard.

π₯ The Red Wings host the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7pm on Saturday at Little Caesars Arena.
- Tickets are available on the secondary market for about $100 including fees.
π Light up Marygrove features live entertainment, holiday treats, giveaways and more at the Marygrove Conservancy's holiday celebration.
- Friday, 5-8pm, 8425 W. McNichols Road.
- Free with registration.
π Drive through the Wayne County Lightfest, a five-mile stretch of holiday lights.
- Every Wednesday to Sunday until Dec. 24 from 6-10pm.
- $5 cash per car.
- Enter at 7651 N. Merriman Road in Westland.
π Walk Boston-Edison's 50th annual holiday home tour, a journey through the historic neighborhood's homes and streets.
- Tours start at various times on Saturday and Sunday at Sacred Heart Seminary, 2701 Chicago Blvd.
