A glorious fall weekend is ahead. The leaves haven't fallen enough to start raking, the Lions are on a bye week and the weather should be wonderful.
- Here are some options:
🎛️ Celebrate J Dilla's legacy at Dilla Fest 2024, with performances by Erykah Badu, Moodymann and others.
- Sunday, 6pm at the Russell Industrial Center.
- Tickets are $43.
🎻 Feel the force at one of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's performances this weekend with the music from the "Star Wars" saga.
- Friday through Sunday at Orchestra Hall.
- Tickets start at $20.
🎃 Revel in spirit of fall at the Detroit Harvest Fest and Food Truck Rally on the Dequindre Cut. The event features four music stages, more than 50 food trucks, a pumpkin patch and other activities.
- Saturday and Sunday, from 11am-8pm.
- Tickets are $8; kids under 3 are free.
🐶 Receive a blessing for your pet at the new Holy Paws Dog Park at the corner of John R and Belmont, near the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament.
- All safely restrained pets and their owners are welcome.
- Sunday at 2pm.
😱 Vintage terror will be on display at the Senate Theater's Vincent Price double feature of "House on Haunted Hill" and "The Masque of the Red Death."

🎷 Mellow out at the Smooth Jazz Fall Fest at the Fox Theatre, featuring Najee, Alexander Zonjic, Keiko Matsui, and Jazz Funk Soul.

🏺Learn about the historic Pewabic tiles at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, 4800 Woodward Ave., from Pewabic's education director and archivist.
