NFL Draft stage construction

The NFL Draft stage is coming together.

Driving the news: Workers began building it last week ahead of the April 25-27 event.

• The metal scaffolding spans the area formerly known as the Monroe Street Midway east of Campus Martius.

State of play: Street closures will affect the area until May 5, encompassing the roads around Campus Martius, according to the city.
