👋 Joe here with a glass full of Old Nation's Boss Tweed — a hazy double IPA that's not for the faint of heart.

What to expect: Williamston-based Old Nation, which specializes in hazy IPAs, cranks up the ABV to 9.3% for the Boss Tweed. It boasts citrusy hops with notes of peach, mango and tangerine.

💭 My thought bubble: Boss Tweed strikes a nice balance of sweetness and hoppy flavors. But the silky mouthfeel reminded me why I prefer more traditional varieties like Bell's Two-Hearted IPA.

  • The high ABV didn't hinder the taste but did leave me with a bit of a buzz.

The bottom line: Boss Tweed is a must-try for any hazy drinker.
