Animated art debuts on Ingersoll Avenue

A public art project on Ingersoll Avenue spotlights new Iowa artists for the first time in a rotating winter–spring "Projector Showcase."
Catch up quick: Animated art began showing on the east side of 2925 Ingersoll Ave. more than a decade ago.
- It has traditionally featured "So Much Water So Close to Home," a black-and-white video by Iowa artist Matthew Kluber, which will return after the showcase.
Driving the news: The Avenues of Ingersoll & Grand last week announced three works selected for the show.
- Jan. 22–Feb. 18: "A Feast For Your Eyes" by Alyson O'Hara and Genevieve Lavalle (Des Moines)
- Feb. 19–March 18: "Grasp" by Jennifer Leatherby (Des Moines)
- March 19–April 16: "Polychromatic Rabbit" by Heather Vail (Corydon)
