New DART bus shelters along Ingersoll Avenue will be installed in the coming weeks — more than three years after the Des Moines City Council approved their designs.
Driving the news: The DART commission last week approved a $132,000 contract to install 10 shelters, including five along Ingersoll.
Three will be in the 1200-1400 blocks of Sixth Avenue, one in the 3200 block of Southwest Ninth St. and one in the 6300 block of University Avenue in Windsor Heights.
