After 18 years in the East Village , Ephemera is closing its current location and "entering a new chapter," co-owner Arin Hummel shared in an email with Axios.

State of play: The boutique paper-goods shop is focusing on designing custom wedding invitations, seasonal greeting cards and personalized stationery.

• It will continue its online presence, while also selling gifts and paper goods in "new ways" offline.

What's next: The shop is still open until the end of the month.
