Nearly half of the new boat lockers at Easter Lake are now rented.
Why it matters: If you want one, you'd better act quickly — similar lockers at Raccoon River Park have a 160-person waitlist.
Catch up quick: Polk County Conservation added the 32-unit kayak and paddleboard locker to Easter Lake's Athene North Shore Recreation Area this spring.
Annual renewals are perpetual, so when they're gone, prospective renters must wait until someone gives up their lease.
