Dome for the Holidays launches Saturday

Dome for the Holidays' inaugural launch is tomorrow at the Greater DSM Botanical Garden.

• It's being promoted as the only indoor conservatory light display in central Iowa.

Zoom in: The garden's iconic dome and tropical plants will be decked out with thousands of lights.

• The event includes blown glass sculptures, music, gnome hunts, a holiday train and refreshments.

Go: 5pm-9pm on most days through Dec. 31. (Some Mondays and holidays are excluded, so check available ticket dates.)
