It's finally Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) season, but you don't need to clamor over to Starbucks to get your fix — Northern Vessel is serving up its own, fresher version of the seasonal drink.

What it is: Northern Vessel's pumpkin spice latte ($6.25) with real pumpkin puree, condensed milk and vanilla.

What I liked: It doesn't stray far from the beloved, nostalgic taste of Starbucks' PSL.

You still get the cozy cinnamon spice, but with more flavor and a hint more sweetness.

Plus: You can also get it iced, just in case October is as warm as September has been.
