This Asian waffle is one of the best foods at the Des Moines Farmers' Market

One of my "must haves" at the Downtown Des Moines Farmers' Market is the butter mochi waffle ($8) from Lucky Birdee.

What I like: The mochi gives these Asian waffles a little bit of a chew, while the sweet flavor is already in the batter, so no need for syrup.

There's also a hint of coconut milk that helps make this a treat, but not overpowering.
They cut the waffle up into quarters for you, so it's easy to share with friends.
