3 new Asian restaurants open in Des Moines metro

From a kimchi burger to chicken tikka masala, there are several new restaurants to try out this week in the Des Moines metro.

🍔 Arcadia in Polk City: The American- and Vietnamese-inspired eatery advertises itself as the town's first upscale restaurant.

On the menu: The farm-to-table restaurant will serve lunch, dinner and brunch with dishes like a kimchi quinoa burger ($16.50), lemon pancakes ($14) and glazed porkchop ($27).

🍛 Red Chillez Indian Cuisine in Ankeny: The Indian restaurant opened this week in Kohl's Plaza at the former El Azteca location.

On the menu: You'll find traditional Indian dishes like paneer tikka, biryani, chicken tikka masala and lamb curry, as well as cocktails and wine.

🍜 Snack & Go in Clive: Grab a quick something to eat at this Vietnamese "street food" restaurant.

On the menu: Steam buns, spring rolls, sticky rice, bubble tea and a "money coin cake."
