The Pappajohn Sculpture Park's $300K lighting makeover is complete.

Catch up fast: The 4.4-acre park contains notable and expensive works of art, mostly donated by businessman John Pappajohn and his wife Mary before their deaths.

  • The project was planned several years ago to replace the park's longtime lighting system with LED technology.

Driving the news: The City Council last night approved the final payment for the completed project.

1 fun thing to go: This free, self-guided audio tour of the park's art is worth your time.
