Former President Trump has received more than $504,000 from large donors in Iowa so far for his 2024 campaign, according to Federal Election Commission data.
Why it matters: Trump easily outraised his GOP rivals and has received nearly twice as much from Iowans as President Biden.
The big picture: Biden leads nationally with nearly $106 million compared to about $89 million for Trump.
The fine print: The data doesn't include donations that are less than $200, which means it's not a complete picture of the total money raised.
But the numbers provide a general sense of a candidate's financial position in Iowa going into today's Super Tuesday primary election.
