Linh here. Doughnuts are one of my simple pleasures that make mornings sweet — and ChaCha's Hiland Bakery has a sugar doughnut that's a basic, delicious treat.

What I ate: Sugar-coated doughnut ($1.75).

What I liked: Despite my gnarly sweet tooth, the older I get, the more sugar doesn't sit well with me.

These are fresh, fluffy doughnuts that are just simple and sweet without overloading on the sugar.

If you go: Open 5am-2pm Tues-Fri; 6am-2pm, Sat and 7am-2pm, Sun at 3615 6th Ave.
