The new Grimes Public Library opens Jan. 30 to the public.
State of play: In addition to books it'll have a little bit of something for everyone — a coffee bar, children's playscape with a slide and a video game center for teens.
The intrigue: It also includes a comfort room for nursing moms and people who need a break from sensory stimulation.
- There are also adult-sized changing tables for people with disabilities to ensure all families can enjoy "public spaces for longer periods," according to a statement from the city.
Where to find it: The $12 million building is at 200 N. James St.
