The Des Moines metro has farmers markets every day, so we compiled a list.
Monday
Pleasant Hill Community Farmers Market: 4-7pm, Berean Church parking lot
- It's a smaller market with everything you want, plus some cheaper prices!
Tuesday
Beaverdale Farmers Market: 4-7pm, westside of Franklin Junior High
- It's one of the most underrated foodie spots. Devour delicacies from places like Pie Bird Pies, Scenic Route Bakery, Pupusas-El Salvador, Flame the Food Truck, Veggie Thumper, Sook's Kitchen and Karam's Mediterranean Grill.
You can also find: The Johnston Farmers Market, 3:30-6:30pm at the Johnston Library.
Wednesday
Bondurant Farmers Market: 6-8pm, Bondurant City Park
- Lots of fresh vegetables with a rotating food truck and live music every week.
Indianola Farmers Market: 2pm-6pm, Warren County Fairgrounds
Waukee Farmers Market: 4-7pm in the Triangle
Thursday
Valley Junction Farmers Market: 4-8pm, Valley Junction
- It has all your classics, but many of the local stores, restaurants and bars are also open. Plus: There's s'more croissants from Savor the Rise.
You can also find: Olde Town Farmers Market in Altoona, 4-7pm and the Polk City Farmers Market, 4-7pm
Friday
Grimes Farmers Market: 4-7pm, Grimes Public Library
Norwalk Farmers Market: 4-7pm, Norwalk Christian Church
Saturday
Of course, there's the Downtown Des Moines Farmers Market from 7am to noon in the Court Avenue district.
