Axios Des Moines' Linh Ta has something to admit — she's eaten a stupid amount of ice cream this summer.

  • She's listed a few of her latest frozen endeavors, and yes, they were all 10 out of 10.

🍦: Birthday cake

👍 ğŸ‘Ž: Huge cone for just $3.77, but couldn't eat it fast enough so it melted all over my hand. Amateur.

💭: This pastel-sprinkled treat is deliciously thick and creamy. Most importantly, nothing beats the nostalgia of yelling your order at the drive-thru speaker that's older than you.

🍦: Lime

👍 ğŸ‘Ž: Refreshing, natural taste for just $3. Wish it was closer to Des Moines.

💭: My eyes were drawn to the vibrant green color. This Mexican ice cream shop had fun flavors like Mangonada. Definitely an underrated stop.

🍦: Hawaiian Punch sorbet

👍 ğŸ‘Ž: Super creative and fun to eat for $5. Make it a permanent flavor!

💭: The taste brought me back to the Hawaiian Punch on tap at McDonald's — in a good way. It holds the fruity tang without the overwhelming sugar that leaves your mouth red and gritty.
