Main Event, an entertainment venue featuring arcade games, laser tag, bowling and virtual reality games, is opening in West Des Moines.
What to expect: A spokesperson confirmed the business will open in spring 2022, but a location is still TBD as they scout locations.
The big picture: It's the latest addition to the metro's growing list of entertainment-focused venues.
- Dave and Buster's is planning on opening at Jordan Creek Town Center. while Spare Time Entertainment is supposed to open just outside the mall.
- If you want to beat up some virtual baddies right now, GameDay has arcade games at Merle Hay Mall, and so does the Operating Room in WDM and Ankeny.
