Move aside, Dinger: Baseball's biggest attraction,the Savannah Bananas, makes a triumphant return to Coors Field this weekend.
Why it matters: The Georgia-based exhibition team exploded in popularity in recent years thanks to their joyful showmanship, bringing a playful panache to America's pastime.
State of play: The team faces the Indianapolis Clowns tomorrow and Saturday night in Denver for a play style dubbed Banana Ball, which incorporates comedic antics with legit baseball — games aren't staged.
Zoom in: Restaurants and bars downtown are offering special drinks and deals this weekend coinciding with the games, including Dairy Block, which is rolling out the yellow carpet for Bananas fans during game days.
Expect giveaways, activations and more, including a balloon artist in The Maven hotel lobby and interactive baseball art hosted by Dairy Block's artist in residence, Finn Taylor of Finn's Studio.
Meanwhile, McGregor Square hosts the official Savannah Bananas merch stand, available today through Saturday.
The plaza will air both games on its 66-foot Jumbotron.

Tomorrow's game airs on truTV and YouTube at 7pm, while Saturday's showdown airs at 6pm on ESPN, the ESPN App, Disney+ and YouTube.
