Summer has unofficially arrived. And so has a nearly endless parade of events, performances and other happenings throughout the city and beyond.
🎭 Arts
- Candlelight Concerts series will host multiple weekend shows, including tributes to Adele, '90s hip-hop, "Lord of the Rings" and Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons." Starting at ~$35
- Denver Art Museum hosts three free days this summer on June 9, July 14 and Aug. 1.
- The Denver Museum of Nature & Science hosts free days June 19 and Aug. 24.
- MCA Denver does it up big for its summer exhibition opening with cocktails and music. July 24. Starting at $32.77
- "Phenomenomaly," (June 5–Aug. 9), a live performance at Meow Wolf, will be included in your admission to the interactive museum every Wednesday through Sunday. Starting at $39
- "The Sound of Music" (July 29–Aug. 2) will make its tour stop at the Buell Theatre, bringing the magic of the classic to Denver. Starting at $47
🤘 Festivals

- Denver Pridefest (June 28) is strutting into a new home this year, taking over 16th Street between Broadway and Arapahoe. Expect a packed festival lineup, including the annual parade. Free
- Cherry Creek Arts Festival (July 3–5) marks its 35th anniversary, with works by more than 250 artists just south of downtown. Free
- Blucifer's First Rodeo (July 23–26) makes its grand entrance this year, turning South Broadway into a multiday live music bonanza. Starting at $39
- Underground Music Showcase (July 24–26) will make its debut in the River North Art District (RiNo) with more than 200 live performances. Starting at $95
⚽️ Sports

- The Colorado Rockies (July 3–4) host two postgame fireworks shows to celebrate Independence Day. Starting at ~$50
- Catch World Cup games (June 11–July 19) screening in locations citywide, including Ay Papi, Maria Empanada and Skyline Park downtown. Free
- Summit FC (July 18) plays its remaining home games at its temporary Centennial Stadium, starting with a clash against the Portland Thorns. Starting at ~$50
- The Colorado Rapids (July 22) resume MLS play after the World Cup break against San Diego FC at Dick's Sporting Goods Park. Starting at ~$34
