Boulder osprey nest sees first hatchling

The first of this year's osprey chicks at the Boulder County Fairgrounds nest hatched last week.

The latest: Viewers on the osprey cam site noted the mother hadn't offered many clear views of her clutch, possibly because of last week's gloomy weather.

• But watchers noticed cracks in the shell last Monday.
