If you've ever wondered what Earth might look like built from Lego bricks, now's your chance to find out.
The big picture: The Denver Museum of Nature & Science debuts "Brick Planet" on Friday — a new exhibition that reimagines the world's ecosystems with Lego sculptures.
- Behind the creations is award-winning artist and author Sean Kenney, whose work has toured globally. He's also known for guest judging on the TV competition "Lego Masters."
Zoom in: More than 1.5 million Lego pieces make up intricate sculptures of coral reefs, wild forests and iconic species like emperor penguins, polar bears and monarch butterflies.
What they're saying: The exhibition "offers a fantastic window into how organisms live and work together through symbiosis — and it does so in a way that's engaging and fun for all ages," Bridget Chalifour, the museum's exhibition curator, said in a statement.
If you go: "Brick Planet" is included with general admission.
- It runs through May 3, 2026.
