Bars and restaurants around Denver are shaking up something special in celebration of Taylor Swift's new album, "The Life of a Showgirl," dropping Friday.
- The Cherry Cricket (multiple locations) is pouring a sparkling "Champagne Problems" that blends blood orange, ginger, prosecco and lemon. ($13, Swift's lucky number)
- Poka Lola Social Club in LoDo is stirring a "T.S. I Love You," featuring Tito's vodka, passion fruit, vanilla bean and lime. ($15)
- Toro in Cherry Creek has mixed up "The Wishlist," made with tequila, orange, lime, Cointreau, grapefruit Fever-Tree and finished with a blue salt rim. ($14)
- Rose & Thorn in RiNo rounds it out with a tropical "True Romance" — Bacardí white rum, mango, lime and Thai chili syrup. ($16)
The big picture: In true T-Swift fashion, her new album is poised to boost business.
- Denver spots from Rare Bird atop the Halcyon to Town Hall Collaborative and Records on Main are among the numerous local venues cashing in with themed parties and listening sessions.
