A quick guide to Denver Art Museum's free day

Pro tip: Kids 18 years and younger can always get in free.

What to expect: General admission gives access to the museum's extensive permanent collection, plus more than 10 exhibits, including:

• "The Life and Art of Tokio Ueyama," featuring 40 paintings by Ueyama, who was among the thousands of Japanese-Americans incarcerated at Camp Amache in Colorado.
• "Dawoud Bey: Street Portraits" is a collection from celebrated photographer with 37 portraits shot between 1988 and 1991 and featuring Black Americans on the East Coast.
• "Sustained! The Persistent Genius of Indigenous Art" is part of the museum's effort to highlight and celebrate Native artwork. Objects like dresses, breastplates and jewelry made by Indigenous artists are featured along with other pieces.
